Music service to be offered by Google

This move is taken in lieu of entertainment content distribution and shall also add professional content on its YouTube video site and soon to roll out a digital bookstore this year.

Google's stepping in into the music and entertainment industry implies steadfastness relations between other entertainment channels.

It is stated that record companies will be benefitted with such a service as they have become increasingly worried about Apple's stranglehold on digital music sale.

Apple who recently has shown a 28% music purchase by U. S. consumers in the first quarter, has left Wal-Mart and Amazon far behind at 12% each.

It is considered as one of the first WSJ source and will apparently be linked to Google's search engine.
